The big move is T-11 days! =) Cannot wait!!
Vegas and Grand Canyon have been checked off my list, but I promised Jeff I'd let him do the blog post for that one because he's eager to add to this blog of ours!
Taking Jeff on his Surprise trip has come and gone.. New York was our destination. I have a few photos, but I have to be honest I have been TERRIBLE at remembering to pull out cameras lately!
Ummmm.... Libby's bachelorette part(ies) have been a blast!! I still can't believe one of us is getting married! =) Aaahhh I'm so excited for her big day!
Ohh and how could I forget.. Jeff took me to Louisiana for the LSU Bayou country fest! It was AMAZING!! Soooo many good artists were there and we had a fantastic time! =)

I know that there has been way more going on than what I've put down on the above list. I need to be better about updating y'all better about our new and exciting life together and all that comes with it. I'll make an oath to do so after my move =)

K I know I said I wouldn't do it but I wanted to share some Grand Canyon pics because I love it =) But first, let me tell you a little about it! So, the Grand Canyon is (was) on my bucket list.. so my fantastic boyfriend helped me check it off. We flew into Vegas, rented a convertible (which caused us to get severely burnt), drove to the Canyon, stayed in cabin IN the canyon, did a couple of hikes, and spent some more time in Vegas before heading back to good ol' Dallas!

Welp, It's the weekend before finals! Please take this moment to visualize the smile on my face and listen the sigh of relief in my typing =)

For reeeallllzzz though, I cannot wait for this semester to be over. It's definitely been a fun one, but I'm just ready for summertime, and getting everything ready for Washburn (which I'll explain in more detail after finals), and WORKING OUT! Ohh how I miss the days of AM & PM workouts! Lean and Mean is my motto for this summer, for sure!

It's about 5 in the morning, I've been studying since 5:30pm yesterday (go me!), and now I have some free time to write a quick note for ya'll before I put this thing on a timeout! Not that I've been posting a lot anyways because my life is just one thing after another right now. Things that I need to talk about once I'm done with finals: (This is more of a checklist for me than it is for your reading pleasure. But if you think about it, it's kinda like watching the previews for next week's sitcom, eh?)

1. Lexie graduates high school (Makes me feel old)

2. I'm taking Jeff on a surprise location trip (no tricks up his sleeve this time!)

3. Washburn, a.k.a my AWESOMEness self, or should I say Ichabod?

4. Scrapbooking, I'm actually pretty good at it!

5. My best friends, and why I love them

6. It IS possible to reverse an addiction to coffee. True Story!

7. My family may suck at communication, support, encouragement, love and affection, and all the other important characteristics that a family should include... But we do know how to have fun. Counts for something, right?

That's all I can think of at the moment. So stay tuned because this blog's about to get BUSY!

Okay, I may have had a tiny, tiny amount of coffee. Rome wasn't built in a day, okay?

I think he may be the first man to ever bake me a cookie cake, with icing, that he obviously applied himself. I have never in my life met someone so supportive, so encouraging, and so incredibly wonderful.

He does SO MUCH for me. But at the end of the day, it's not the fancy stuff that make my heart gravitate towards him; it's the little things, like this cake, that show me how much he cares about me and the person I am becoming. I've never felt had anyone make me feel so unique, special, smart, beautiful and most importantly capable of taking on the world.

Patience is a Virtue...

I know, I know.. I'll update in the nearish future!! It's almost time for my no sleep/cram info in my head/excessive amounts of coffee and small edibles like goldfish so I don't have to bother my writing hand/lose track of what day it is, what my DOB is, and which street I take to get home at night temporary memory loss/frequent yet random giggles due to sleep deprived hallucinations/no exercise but I still manage to lose enough lbs that put me into the sickly category- period of the semester. And when I'm done with that, I'll gladly post about ALL KINDA of fun things! =)

Long story short, Thursday night I was joking around with Jeff about him coming here (to Kansas) for the KU game. Genius thought it would be cool to meet half way. So Tulsa it was! and we had a great time!! For anyone who knows me, Spontaneity doesn't come easy to me. I try but my OCD tendencies really inhibit me from being able to just drop all my plans and go with something new. Jeff has this magic power on me. I love how adventurous I've become. He has really brought out the fun in me. =) we went to a Kansas Alumni bar (known as Leon's) in the Brookside area. After the close game against Boston, we got ready and went to downtown Tulsa and [we think] hung out with the drug dealers of Tulsa. We are fairly positive that we were the only two that weren't high of some serious drugs. AND kinda went to a sketchy rave (glow sticks included) haha. Our last day was a chill day at a bar called Blue Rose. It's a deck bar that sits on the side of some river that runs through Tulsa. Gorgeous weather, a beautiful park with live music and some amazing beer and nachos. I really couldn't have asked for a better afternoon with the most amazing man. We also went to a really good place for brunch (I struggled for a bit due to being a liiiiittle hungover) But it was actually really good once I started eating the food!! And it was called Lucky's, which was awesome! Here are a few pics!! I'm not done loading the Mexico pics yet, but I'll get on that soon! Maybe this weekend? We shall see! Jeff's coming in town, so I may not get around to it.

I am incredibly excited to get away from Kansas for a week and just enjoy some good ol' R&R. I'm excited to wake up on my own (absolutely no alarm clock) and do whatever my little bum ticker (heart) desires.

I am excited for my parents to meet Jeff! I have a feeling they are going to get along great. It's pretty hard NOT to get along with him, and my parents are pretty awesome so it should be fun! =)

I am excited for my sister to experience her Senior Spring Break! My senior spring break was such a memorable one. If only I could try to explain the stories. But what happens in Playa, stays in Playa! I hope she comes back with some crazy, BUT SAFE, stories of her own!

It's been some time since I got the opportunity to share with everyone what's been going on in my personal life. Soooo I thought I'd show a couple pics =)

I went down to Dallas the weekend of Feb... 11th? And we went and saw a band from New Orleans. I cannot for the life of me remember their name, but they were FANTASTIC!
